Overview:
Georgina had an existing site and content management system, but needed a complete redesign with new ways to display her site content on a limited budget. The original bespoke content management system was retained as Georgina was comfortable using the system and with some adaptations it would still suit her purpose. Without the adaptations Georgina would have been unable to section her ever growing content in a user friendly manner, nor include relevant press articles and tearsheets. She also found the rich text editor her CMS included was only ever displayed on Internet Explorer in Windows - frustrating as Georgina has always used a Mac book! Modifications were made to allow a higher level of sectioning for her content, some of the poorer components were replaced allowing her rich text editing functionality even on her Mac, and web 2.0 components were introduced to allow Georgina to add relevant text overviews and information about each image. PDF download functionality was included for her tearsheets and articles.
